# illustrator_set_perspective_grid

Illustrator: Set up the perspective grid (View > Perspective Grid): choose a preset (one_point, two_point, three_point or a saved preset's name), show or hide the grid, set the active plane, move the plane to match an object, and flip the grid's toggles (Show Rulers, Snap to Grid, Lock Grid, Lock Station Point). While the grid is shown with an active plane, create_* tools draw in perspective on that plane. Viewing angle, horizon and gridline settings come only from a preset: use import_perspective_presets for presets saved in Illustrator
