# ics_parse

Parse an iCalendar (.ics) feed from a URL (SSRF-safe; Google / Outlook / Apple calendar exports) or inline text into JSON: calendar name and zone, events with start / end in any IANA zone, all-day flag, location, organizer, attendee count, status and recurrence rule in English. Give a from / to window to expand recurring events (RRULE, EXDATE, RDATE, RECURRENCE-ID overrides) into concrete occurrences. Windows time-zone names are mapped to IANA. Price: $0.003 USDC per successful call (x402, Solana). Same tool over HTTPS: POST https://scorptech.it.com/api/x402/v1/ics-parse

## Example call (MCP tools/call, JSON-RPC 2.0)

```json
{
  "jsonrpc": "2.0",
  "id": 1,
  "method": "tools/call",
  "params": {
    "name": "ics_parse",
    "arguments": {}
  }
}
```

## Why ics_parse is rated High

ics_parse triggers real processes with real consequences. An agent gone sideways doesn't fire it once. It starts dozens of builds, sends mass notifications, or burns through compute before anyone looks up.

Risk signals: Accepts URL/endpoint input (url)

## Use case

AI agents invoke ics_parse to trigger actions in ScorpTech x402 API. What it does depends on the arguments the agent supplies, and its effects often reach beyond the immediate call: builds kicked off, notifications sent, workflows started.

## Recommended policy (PolicyLayer)
