## Why amazon_variations is rated Low

This tool queries Amazon's product database to retrieve variation information (colors, sizes, styles, etc.) for a given product ASIN. It performs a read-only lookup with no data modification, creation, deletion, or execution of external operations. The blast radius of misuse is minimal—an attacker could only gather product information already publicly available on Amazon.

From the tool's own definition: "Tool description states 'Get Amazon product variations for an ASIN' — a retrieval operation with no modification or side effects. The verb 'Get' indicates data fetching only."

## Use case

AI agents call amazon_variations to retrieve information from UnClick without modifying anything. It is typically the context-gathering step in research, monitoring, and reporting workflows, before the agent takes action elsewhere.
