## Example call (MCP tools/call, JSON-RPC 2.0)

```json
{
  "jsonrpc": "2.0",
  "id": 1,
  "method": "tools/call",
  "params": {
    "name": "interactsh_client",
    "arguments": {}
  }
}
```

## Why interactsh_client is rated High

Interactsh is a well-known out-of-band interaction server used in penetration testing to detect blind vulnerabilities (SSRF, XXE, blind XSS, etc.) by capturing DNS/HTTP callbacks. On an offensive security platform like Nyxstrike, this tool almost certainly runs the interactsh client to initiate or monitor external interactions triggered by payloads. This constitutes executing external operations.

From the tool's own definition: "Tool name 'interactsh_client' on a penetration testing platform; description is empty and uninformative."

## Use case

AI agents invoke interactsh_client to trigger actions in Nyxstrike. What it does depends on the arguments the agent supplies, and its effects often reach beyond the immediate call: builds kicked off, notifications sent, workflows started.

## Recommended policy (PolicyLayer)

Verdict: **Rate-limited**. Enforced by the PolicyLayer MCP gateway (https://policylayer.com/mcp-gateway) before a call reaches Nyxstrike:

```json
{
  "version": "1",
  "default": "deny",
  "tools": {
    "interactsh_client": {
      "limits": [
        {
          "counter": "interactsh_client_rate",
          "window": "minute",
          "max": 10,
          "scope": "grant"
        }
      ]
    }
  }
}
```
