What is Responsible AI?
The practice of developing and deploying AI systems in ways that are safe, fair, transparent, and accountable. For AI agents, this includes enforcing policies on behaviour, maintaining audit trails, and ensuring human oversight of autonomous actions.
WHY IT MATTERS
Responsible AI has moved from aspirational framework to operational requirement. Regulations like the EU AI Act, sector-specific guidance from financial regulators, and enterprise procurement standards now demand demonstrable responsible AI practices. For organisations deploying AI agents with tool access, this is not optional.
